We are a family-run company that operates from Markman Township in Nelson Mandela Bay.

We devote our passion and commitment to the ever-growing customer base of that continues to support us.

As the largest processed meat producer in the Eastern Cape, we supply an impressive no pork variety of polonies, sausages and cold meats to customers across South Africa and neighbouring countries.
At the helm of Classic Processed Products are David Deutschmann (Managing Director) and Travis Kaschula (Financial Director). Together with our staff, our “family” is dedicated to ensuring that Classic Processed Products maintains and strives for superior quality and service.

David Deutschmann

Managing Director

David Deutschmann is one of the co-founders of Classic Meats. After having completed his BCom, followed by articles at KPMG. He was appointed Financial Director of Combined Meats Butchery, which started trading in 1995. Later that year, the “Classic” brand was born.

In 2001 after a merger with another company to form MEAT 2000, he continued as Financial and Marketing Director. In 2007, he was appointed as Managing Director. In 2011, when the company changed its registered name to Classic Processed Products (Pty) Ltd , David retained his position as Managing Director, which he enjoys to date.

Travis Kaschula

Financial Director CA (SA)

Travis studied his Bachelor of Accounting at Stellenbosch University and his Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting at Rhodes University. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2006 after completing his articles at PwC.

In 2008 he joined the Classic Meats family as the Financial Manager. This move happened at the time the company had acquired the new building and had begun its expansion project to improve the overall health status and increase production.

In 2011 he was promoted to Financial Director. He finds that the real value of Classic Meats lies in being a family-run business that continues to maintain the standards and personal touch of such.

Ronel Botha

National Sales & Marketing Manager
